It is about much more than just reducing all the wires required to operate the systems on your coach. These versatile controller boards can monitor and control many of your systems. The boards are called PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers) and you can program them to handle control decisions without having to know a programming language. PLC's are told what to do by using Ladder Logic. It looks just like an electrical circuit diagram. You use a PC to program the PLC once and then unhook your PC and the PLC runs the program unattended.
Now, PLC's have been around for a long time in the industrial automation world, but they have typically been very expensive and require costly software in order to program them. Not any more!! We have units that can monitor 8 digital inputs, 8 analog inputs and control 8 digital outputs for as little as $199 USD. Programming software is $69 USD AND these PLC's can operate on 12Vdc OR 24 Vdc.
Not only that but these units have 2 built in communication ports to allow you to have multiple PLC's (up to 255) communicate with each other for no extra cost! Put one unit at the front of your coach for displaying information to the driver, one in the cargo bay to monitor and control systems and one at the back for your engine!
